Mission Statement

“Empowering children and Young People to make positive live choices and to have their own personal relationship with God with great Bible teaching in a fun and relaxed atmosphere!"

Our desire:

To provide and maintain a high standard of teaching the Word of God
To see each child come to know Jesus as their personal Saviour
To help those who have made a commitment to grow in knowledge of the Bible
To have fun along the way!

Encounter is aimed at children and young people in Nursery (Must be 4years of age) up to the school class year 10 (age 14)

We begin our morning with Church at 11am and go out just before communion (approx 11.30am). At this time we go directly to our classes for our Bible Lesson. We all join together again at 12.15pm for our End Game quiz & sing our favourite chorus and then close in prayer.

We run term time in class format & during school holidays as an open sessions so there is always something on for the kids to come and get involved in.

We organize outings throughout the year including craft days; video night & end of season outings.

We do not take weekly offerings however we like to support our missionary’s and have an outing to the park for a picnic and conker hunt around the mall. On these days we ask the children to bring a donation to support the work of our missionary project which varies every year.

We love to encourage the children to take part in special services and we have a special service every Christmas and another special service in May each year.
