WE Worship...

…with passion and enthusiasm, because we have come to know the forgiveness, grace, love, freedom, healing, peace and joy that Jesus brings.
...in 'spirit and truth' for this is the kind of worshipper God is looking for. (John 4 23-24)
...because the Bible tells us to.

'Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs....give thanks to Him and praise His name.  For the Lord is good and His love endures for ever.'
(Ps 100:2,4-5)

Worshipping God is not just something we do on Sundays but is an important part of our daily lives.  It is both our duty and delight to worship the One true living God, who created us and knows everything about us (and still loves us!).  He is a Sovereign and Awesome Holy God and we express our love, our praise and our desire to know Him better in the songs we sing, and the music we play, and by lifting our hands, declaring our praise, clapping our hands, kneeling, praying and responding sensitively to the prompting of the Holy Spirit who directs our lives and brings encouragement, strength and comfort to us.

Most services at Armagh Elim Church have times when you can sing out in your own words your love and praise to Jesus, or pray, or bring a word of encouragement or prophecy.  Worship times are for everyone and we encourage every believer to participate rather than spectate.  God is looking for honesty, integrity, and authenticity in our worship and it is our privilege ‘.through Jesus to continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess His name.’ (Hebrews 13:15)
